It’s Christmas Eve, the tree is trimmed, the stockings are hung… and one very anxious cat is trying extremely hard to stay on the Nice List.
Just a few feet away, the mouse hole is decked out in its own wreath and a string of twinkling lights, practically daring him to make a move. Sweating, eyes darting, whiskers trembling, our striped hero sits frozen in the most heroic display of holiday self-restraint ever attempted. Peace on earth? He’s doing his best.
Part of our Funny Bones Slightly Silly Greeting Cards collection, this hand-drawn cartoon pairs classic pen-and-ink crosshatching with cheerful pops of red and green: a sparkling tree piled with presents, a snowy window scene, a crackling fireplace with a red stocking, and a bold script “Merry Christmas!” topped with holly.
Perfect for:
Cat lovers and pet parents who know this look all too well
Anyone who appreciates a little mischief with their holiday cheer
Coworkers, neighbors, family, and friends who could use a Christmas laugh
